Mongolia was my home from 1999 to 2006 while I was working as a project manager in the financial sector for donors such as European Union, Asian Development Bank and the international Finance Corporation 'World Bank Group'. Mongolian Memories demonstrates how twentieth century events shaped Mongolian society and, to this day, the livelihoods and thinking of the Mongolians. Entry point for exploring the country's recent history are anecdotes from the seven years the author lived, worked and traveled in Mongolia and interviews with elderly Mongolians.
